The initial part of the hotel Capo Sud was built in 1955 by the Di Puccio family, which still manages it today. Since then, the hotel has expanded and been renovated several times, but the reserved and amicable welcome to guests has never changed. We are part of the Ecohotel circuit and are actively committed to safeguarding and defending the environment thanks to some initiatives that we have undertaken in recent years and which have awarded us among the most virtuous hotels on the island of Elba.

In the main building of the hotel there is the main restaurant where we serve breakfast and dinner. The restaurant is air-conditioned and has large panoramic windows with a magnificent view of the Stella Gulf: our kitchen offers genuine dishes with a menu to choose from 3 first and 3 second courses, including seafood, land or vegetarian specialties, and dessert.

The hotel provides hospitality in forty rooms located in small villas (that have from a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 12 bedrooms) within a park covering more than 10,000 m2 and including our own private beach. These peaceful houses are called: la Palma, l’Eucaliptus, il Sole, l’Aleatico, la Luna, i Pini, le Mimose, l’Usignolo, il Pittosforo,  il Riccio and Salvia Marina; their names were suggested by their specific positions in the green surrounds of the Mediterranean forest in which the hotel is located. Each room is surrounded by vegetation and has a small balcony or terrace.

One of the features most appreciated by our guests is the proximity to the sea which can be reached in a few steps through one of the three paths that cross our park and arrive directly on the beach of Margidore with no roads to cross.Along the way you will find the villas that house most of our rooms, all surrounded by greenery and each with its own balcony or terrace.

A few more steps and you will reach one of the most beautiful places in the hotel: the scenic swimming pool that overlooks the sea. Near the swimming pool there is a bar and an outdoor restaurant open from mid-June to mid-September.

Our beach is one of the quietest in all of Elba even in the months when the island is busiest. The beach is reserved for our guests who have free use of an umbrella and 2 sun loungers for each room. Adults and children can relax and swim safely in the pool and in the sea under the supervision of our lifeguards.

We are in a corner of great tranquility, surrounded by greenery and right on the border of the Tuscan Archipelago Natural Park which promises clean sea and corners of unspoiled nature. Practicing a sporting activity in such a setting becomes even more enjoyable. The hotel has a synthetic grass tennis court where you can play for free.

In Elba there are several routes for bicycle lovers that offer splendid views between nature and the sea.

On the beach our lifeguard will be at your disposal for the rental of canoes and pedal boats. A hundred meters from our beach there is a sailing and windsurfing school suitable for both beginners and the more experienced. Our hotel has an agreement with the Aquanautic diving center, one of the best on the island, with which it has agreed special rates and services for its guests. For those who love golf, the Acquabona golf course is just 8 km from us.

We offer our guests free wifi connection for their PC and a well-stocked library at their complete disposal.

For the booking of the ferry ticket we have agreements with the Blunavy company which offers very interesting rates.

Animals are accepted (free of charge) from 24/04 to 9/06 and from 14/10/09 to 20/10/2024, in case of availability of suitable accommodation. Access allowed to the beach in a reserved area and inside the park; access not allowed in the restaurants (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and in the pool area.
