The Hotel Casa Rosa is located right in the heart of the Gulf of Biodola, the most exclusive beach on the Island of Elba. Unlike many seaside resorts, there is no town or village surrounding the bay, which is completely immersed in the Tuscan Archipelago National Park and entirely surrounded by woodland.
The beach, with its fine golden sand, is bordered by rocky areas on both sides, offering pleasant spots even for those who prefer not to stay on the sand. The hotel is just 200 metres from the beach and has a fully equipped private beach reserved exclusively for its guests. Kayaks and pedal boats are also available for hire. The crystal-clear sea has received several prestigious environmental awards in recent years and, together with Procchio and Marciana, has been ranked among the five cleanest coastal areas in Italy. One of the reasons is the complete absence of harbours or water discharges in the bay.
From Hotel Casa Rosa it is easy to reach Portoferraio, the island's main town, located only 6 km away. Scaglieri, a charming little bay with cafés, a restaurant and a small convenience store, is just 500 metres from the hotel.
Hotel Casa Rosa offers comfortable rooms equipped with television, telephone, air conditioning and private bathroom. Guests can also enjoy a large private car park, a shaded park, a panoramic swimming pool with solarium, a tennis court, table tennis, a children's playground and a Baby Club. Families with young children will also appreciate the dedicated kitchen where parents can prepare meals for their babies. Kayaks and pedal boats can also be rented directly from the private beach. A spacious panoramic terrace, served by one of the hotel's bars, is the perfect place to enjoy an aperitif while watching the sunset.
The restaurant offers excellent cuisine with a wide selection of dishes, including fresh fish, carefully selected meat and homemade desserts prepared by our chef. The buffet breakfast features a generous variety of products, including yoghurt, cereals, different jams and freshly baked pastries.
Guests looking for a quiet moment can relax in the reading room or enjoy the TV lounge. The guest rooms are not concentrated in a single main building but are distributed among small low-rise buildings surrounded by greenery, perfectly integrated into the National Park.
Hotel Casa Rosa could almost be described as an agritourism property, thanks to its vegetable gardens, orchards and large vineyard stretching gently towards the sea. Depending on the season, tomatoes, basil, parsley, artichokes, aubergines, apricots, plums, pears, figs and especially our house white wine all come from the hotel's own production.
Covering approximately five hectares, the hotel enjoys such a peaceful location that guests hear no traffic or urban noise—only the sound of the sea, the cries of seagulls and the wind moving through the trees.
For sea lovers and fishing enthusiasts, there is also a special surprise available from the website's Fishing Trips section.
